About This Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how The Flower Shed Thornbury uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit this website.
Some technologies are necessary for the website and its privacy controls to work correctly. Other services, such as Google Maps, are optional and will only be loaded if you choose to allow external content.
What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small pieces of information that can be stored on your computer, phone, tablet or other device when you visit a website.
Websites can also use similar technologies, such as browser storage, to remember information about your preferences or choices.
This website uses browser storage to remember the privacy choices you make through our cookie consent system.
How We Use Cookies And Similar Technologies
The Flower Shed Thornbury keeps the use of cookies and similar technologies to a minimum.
We currently use them for the following purposes:
Essential Privacy Preferences
When you make a choice using our cookie consent notice, your preference is stored in your browser's local storage.
This allows the website to remember whether you have chosen to allow or reject optional external content.
This storage is necessary for the website to remember your privacy choice and is not used for advertising, analytics or tracking.
External Content - Google Maps
The website includes an embedded Google Map to help visitors find Morton Farm in Thornbury.
Google Maps is a third-party service provided by Google. Loading an embedded map may allow Google to receive information about your device and your visit and may result in Google using cookies or similar technologies.
For this reason, the Google Map is not loaded when you first visit the website.
It will only be loaded if you select Accept All or enable External Content within Cookie Settings.
Your Cookie Choices
When you first visit the website, you can choose to:
- accept all optional services;
- reject non-essential services; or
- choose which optional services to allow through Cookie Settings.
Essential technologies used to remember your privacy choices cannot be switched off through the consent panel.
Changing Your Preferences
You can change your privacy preferences at any time by opening Cookie Settings.
If you withdraw permission for external content, embedded services such as Google Maps will no longer be loaded by this website.
You can open the Cookie Settings panel using the button below.
Google Maps
Google Maps is provided by Google and is subject to Google's own privacy and cookie practices.
If you allow External Content, information may be transferred to Google when the map is loaded. The Flower Shed Thornbury does not control the cookies or other technologies that Google may use once its content has been allowed and loaded.
You can find further information about how Google handles information in Google's own privacy information.
Browser Controls
Most web browsers also allow you to manage or delete cookies and other stored website data through the browser's privacy settings.
Please be aware that deleting stored website data may also remove the privacy preference you have previously selected on this website. If that happens, the website may ask you to make your privacy choices again.
Changes To This Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy may be updated if the website begins using new services or if the way cookies or similar technologies are used changes.
The date at the top of this page will be updated when significant changes are made.
